I got bitten by ORMs in my current toy project, https://github.com/voltagex/YAMS https://github.com/voltagex/YAMS. For the life of me, I couldn't get Dapper to join correctly. Now I'm running into trouble keeping the POCOs and SQL in sync. I may try to use some kind of code generation based on schema - I think there's a middle ground.
