Even if that was true, it doesn't invalidate the fact there is no scientific reasoning behind the theory of chemical imbalance.
- jdietrich 8y agoWe don't really know how antidepressants work. We don't know how a lot of drugs work. Nobody knows why acetaminophen (paracetamol) cures your headache. Knowing how a drug works is useful but not essential; modern medicine relies on hundreds of drugs with unknown mechanisms of action.
