- DanBC 9y agoAssume for a moment that the politicians lie at every opportunity. You don't have to believe them. You can read the report and source the court documents. Those will tell you what Backpage themselves said: We knew about it, we didn't have to do anything because of section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.
