+1 for EEVBlog, he's an ex-EE who brings a ton of experience to a bunch of interesting areas. As someone who's self-taught I found that the Art of Electronics was fantastic once I had enough basics. It may require a couple reads as it's quite dense but everything in there is solid gold.
