Ask HN: Do you subscribe to any financial newsletters, especially paid ones?

I paid for one (not much, less than $100) just out of curiosity. I get at least 2 emails a day from them. All emails shill for other newsletters (aka "premium products"). Sometimes a single email has three (!!) ads. Each one of these products say the same thing - they have found a "secret formula" (stock market, crypto, gold etc) that apparently no one knows about and for a low, low payment of $2500 (or more) per year, they'd be generous enough to share it with you. I genuinely wanted to learn about finance a bit, but these emails really turned me off from these newsletters. It was less than $100, so it doesn't bother me from a money perspective, but I am annoyed that I paid to be treated like garbage. It is just one newsletter and it is just my experience, so I am not making any assumptions about the industry. Do you subscribe to any? What is your experience?
