- drawkbox 9y agoApple is going to EOL Mac Pros to 2011 via the next OS and have done for many of the older Mac Pros [1]. It is a shame because many can still run it just fine. I have a 2012 I got in 2013 which is our last Mac Pro and I am not going to be happy the day they do it. [1] https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201624 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201624
- qaq 9y agoAt work we still run El Captain so I am fine using High Sierra for a few years at home :) hopefully by that time Ubuntu will be usable with multiple HiDPI displays.
- overcast 9y agoMy 2008 is running the very latest version of High Sierra without any issues. It's a very simple hack to make it work. So you can get more life out of it easily.
