I'm curious whether users knew that everything they'd be doing was logged and would be examined later.
- michel__ 9y agoI'm particularly curious on finding out the following: (A) What sort of information are they canvassing for? (B) What are they doing with that sort of information?
- hrktb 9y agoOLPC was marketed as a dev ready machine where every log is visible, source code or every running app can be read at the press of a button. It was not a “consumer” machine from the start, researchers looking at logs is just a side effect of the basic stance.
