I don’t know recently but in my experience it’s absolutely false.
In the ERPs or other enterprisy software they HAD to press the F-keys to do anything.
If they could do it 20 years ago I simply can’t believe that suddenly humanity has devolved and it’s unable to use function keys today.
- rickycook 9y agoi’m sure that humanity has the ability to learn to use he escape keys, just like i’m sure you have the ability to learn to farm your own food. that doesn’t mean you should have to do it to get things done though computers have gotten easier and learning what F5 does is not in the realm of necessary things that people should have to know to operate their work device
