I can't speak for the authors of the Latacora page but I generally find this unnecessary. We had enough curve arguments on the CFRG leading up to RFC 7748/8032

I can't speak for the authors of the Latacora page but I generally find this unnecessary. We had enough curve arguments on the CFRG leading up to RFC 7748/8032 that any additional curves for ECC gets filed under "needless bikeshedding". Why not pick PinkBikeShed or FuchsiaBikeShed instead?
