I think it varies. For small, daily transactions like coffee, lunch, etc., I definitely prefer cashless. But there's definitely something to be said for the convenience & anonymity of just handing over a wad of cash if you're buying a used lawnmower or whatever on Craigslist. I'd hate to not have the option.
