Why aren't corporate employees held accountable for their abuses of power? I think there's more accountability in government because government records are generally open to the public vs corporate records which are private.
- starrychloe2 9y agoThey are. People stop buying their stuff and they get fired or go bankrupt. A government cannot go bankrupt because it will just steal and print more money. If you think government records are open, try getting the last remaining records on the JFK assassination, unredacted.
- daotoad 9y agoAlso, lumping in the lack of accountability for police and prison guards with, say, accountability for teachers is laughable. Police and correctional officers have specific, strong protections from legal consequences for their actions.
