When people become angry and uncertain, mistrustful -- they physiologically hear less. Relative to your father -- is important to take his 'emotional temperature' Figure out the pictures in his head and deal with it. See if those perceptions match. You're right to love to your folks, support them the best you can. You know your Old Man better than anyone -- What will it take to persuade him? Where the circle overlaps with your career and business interests -- sadly, lots of people have learned to keep them separated.
