Go to https://start.spring.io https://start.spring.io. It will let you down laod zip file which contains base project structure. Choose maven or gradle. Don't create your project using any ide netbeans, eclipse, Inyelij IDEA. USe file -> open menu and open maven(pom.xml) or gradle(build.gradle) file and choose as project.
