The initial message that pops up is somewhat easy to miss, but the white flashing at the edges of the instrument panel gets my attention every time. It’s effective enough that I’ve never received the audible alert that comes next. (I don’t use my phone while driving, so my experience is based on looking at the road. Maybe it’s easier to miss when looking downward rather than forward.)
