- manigandham 9y agoPrivacy != anonymity. If you want your communications to be private, by definition you should not use a public broadcast system to do it. Twitter is also pseudo-anonymous at best.
- intopieces 9y agoHow’s that? The tradition of free speech has been standing on a public square and announcing your views or attending a public meeting with officials to tell them how you feel about their policies. The concept of privacy itself is very young, and the idea of anonymous speech even younger. Can you point to some anonymous speech traditions in the US or elsewhere ? Also, Twitter is not anonymous.
