I can confirm that drivers often are fine to do this. But someone needs to pick up the items, the driver should not be expected to make a delivery themselves.

- dannyw 9y agoYou can certainly negotiate with the driver. With tipping, drivers are generally happy to do a little bit extra (e.g. make the delivery) in exchange for a reasonable tip.
- icebraining 9y agoYeap. When I had to catch a train while carrying too many bags, I offered the driver an extra to carry one of them to the platform with me. It's actually an interesting question for the future: a self-driving car won't be able to do this :)
