Nah, still 30 years away. My guess is aligned with the OP.
- mrep 9y agoWaymo is already running fully autonomous cars in Arizona without backup drivers. It may take 30 years to handle blizzards and every edge case but you can just park the car to avoid those problems temporarily while still serving 99% of the market so they don't need to be solved now.
