- notabee 9y agoThat's right, it doesn't sound right because you're making the assumption that the energy to do this would come from non-renewable energy sources. The value of this technology is to sequester carbon or convert energy output that's variable over time from renewables to a more consistent form of energy without digging more carbon out of the ground.
