This is how transparent an organization should be when breached. Kudos to Under Armour.
- samthecoy 9y agoGDPR, the new EU Data Protection legislation, will actually require companies to issue notification of a breach of PII, within 7 days of becoming aware of it, I believe.
- M2Ys4U 9y agoThat only applies to notification to the data protection authority unless the breach "is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons".
- jacquesm 9y agoThe transparency is nice but it took them almost a month to realize they'd been hacked. That's pretty sloppy.
