Bullfighting involves a series of puncture wounds plus a sword stab in the end. In contrast, during slaughter, bovines get stunned / killed with compressed air, unless it's religious slaughter.
I am not going to say that farming meat is in the best interest of bovines, but common sense tells me the compressed air seems like a less painful way to die than being stabbed multiple times.
