Netflix just has some horrifyingly bad and not-at-all-subtle product placement instead (example: http://www.adnews.com.au/netflix-slammed-for-product-placement http://www.adnews.com.au/netflix-slammed-for-product-placeme...). And smoking. Lots of smoking. I liked Netflix insofar as they challenged cable networks and studios, but ultimately it was just more TV and I finally recently gave that up too, and it's been an improvement overall.
