I'm a big fan of the book 1491 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000JMKVE4/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000JMKVE4/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?...) by Charles Mann.
It really changed my worldview about what the Americas were like before Columbus.

- Synaesthesia 9y agoThere’s a book called American Holocaust by David Stannard which is just devastating to read. That’s where I first learned about the advanced civilizations which existed in the Americas before Columbus.
