You should never have loyalty to a company, only to an individual (even then you have to be a bit careful; CEOs of public companies for instance, have responsibilities to share-holders which take precedence to their personal opinions and desires).
- rectang 9y agoCompanies are not people. They are single-purpose, amoral, profit-optimizing entities. The larger the company and the more detached the ownership, the less sensitive the company is to any negative effects. Like gut flora, they can be useful to humans -- but they are not like us.
