I really enjoy listening to hardcore history by Dan Carlin. Which is, no surprise, about history:) You could almost forget it's not an audio book from audible but a history podcast
- dccoolgai 9y agoBeen reading history my whole life and Wrath of the Khans radically changed the way I thought of everything after that.
- eurticket 9y agoA follow up for people that enjoy hardcore history, would be The History Of Rome by Mike Duncan. All of The History of Rome is available on Youtube, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItwGz43a_ak&list=PLmhKTejvqnoOrQOcTY-pxN00BOZTGSWc3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItwGz43a_ak&list=PLmhKTejvqn... It's really great that it's on YT because it allows you to listen to the podcast at a faster speed.
- AndrewStephens 9y agoIf you like Dan Carlin, I would also recommend The British History Podcast[0], an epic more-or-less chronological take on the history of the British Isles. The host can really spin a yarn, and it is taken from primary sources. [0] https://www.thebritishhistorypodcast.com https://www.thebritishhistorypodcast.com
