Hi HN! We shipped this product a little over a month ago, and so far over 2,000 people have created their own pages and we've helped hundreds of people find dates.
Yesterday, we shipped a new version of the app that lets you create an event and people can apply to the event. Here's an example: https://applytodate.com/lucy/formal-on-friday-1eia https://applytodate.com/lucy/formal-on-friday-1eia
On the technical side, the website is written in Next.js and the iOS app is built using React Native (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/apply-to-date/id1357419725?mt=8&ref=producthunt https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/apply-to-date/id1357419725?m...)
- deadcoder0904 9y agoCongrats, nice concept & I love the UI & the concept. Looks unique. Feedback: On the apply page [0], the page field has https://applytodate.com/ https://applytodate.com/ cut off & it looks weird. I know you have optimised it for mobile but on Desktop it can be wide & on Mobile you can reduce the font-size. Its real nice to see something unique in Dating world. Congrats you're onto something here. [0]: https://applytodate.com/lucy/formal-on-friday-1eia/apply https://applytodate.com/lucy/formal-on-friday-1eia/apply
