- pacavaca 9y agoI would even be okay with Adobe buying a company, which serves an entry-level market and offering its products separately from their old behemoths. Kind of like Atlassian sells JIRA, but for those, who don't like it - they bought Trello. P.S. Macromedia Flash was so cool in 2006 :)
- mietek 9y agoUnfortunately, Adobe bought Macromedia to kill FreeHand, not to continue offering it. http://www.freehandforum.org http://www.freehandforum.org
- hyperpallium 9y agoLest we forget https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop Though TBF Adobe subsequently wrote many times more than the original. Also, macromedia bought altsys, so that one's a transitive acquisition.

- acutesoftware 9y agoYes, PSP did everything I needed to do - though I am not deep into graphics. Seems they have a new 2018 version ($89 AU), but Windows only. https://www.paintshoppro.com/en/products/paintshop-pro/standard/ https://www.paintshoppro.com/en/products/paintshop-pro/stand...
