My first reaction after logging into unknown *nix machines.
uptime
uname -a
w
who
df -h
free -m
cat /proc/cpuinfo
mount
top
ps aux
then check appropriate logs or dmesg etc
- Fnoord 9y agoYou say *nix machines, but some of your commands are Linux specific.
- freehunter 9y agoOnly two, 'free' and 'cat /proc/cpuinfo'. Everything else can work on both.
