It's not hyperbole. Apple may be the best of a bad lot, but that doesn't change the reality of the situation. Like I said in the OP, I know the world isn't perfect. Normally, I wouldn't call out Apple. But when Cook decides to lecture about the dangers of social media and privacy and calls for more regulation, which would also weaken his competitors, he should have his bad practices brought to light.
