I hate c++. I've always hated it. I first remember being aware of it in 1983. We didn't have the Internet then, so it could have only been through magazines that I became aware of it. I remember looking at it and thinking, "This can't be the future!" I still do. Through the years loves have come and gone. Fortune has come and gone and come and gone and come and... My hatred of c++ is the one consistent thread through all those years. Even looking at the most innocuous of programs, a Hello World program, makes my skin crawl. It is ugly beyond words. A festering, oozing pustule.
