It was eye opening to me when I went to Asia and realised there’s practically no difference in culture when comparing Europeans to each other, and when comparing them to various Asian cultures. I don’t mean that in a bad way, but Italians and Fins (on average, of course) aren’t as different as they might have been led to believe, especially when both are compared to a Vietnamese.
