Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you.
I'm starting to think that game developers enjoy their toxic work environment until they finally realize that it is taking a toll. By then, they find that they're often stuck / lack the confidence to move on.

- nailer 9y agoFashion industry is similar: so many inexperienced twenty year olds would do the job for free. So conditions are poor and people get paid a pittance. Why have one experienced person when you could get 10 x 22 year olds?
- horsecaptin 9y agoWhoops, I meant: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I pulled a Dubya!
