- untog 9y ago"mass of developers" is usually used in favour of JS, not against it.
- jsjohnst 9y agoYou do realize a lot of WebOS from an app side is JS, right? WebOS was using Node.js almost at the beginning before many in the web world knew about it (back in the fairly early Ryan Dahl days).
- nallerooth 9y agoA lot of people get confused about JavaScript and DOM performance. Now, of course it's possible to write terribly slow apps in JavaScript, but the same is true for C. When used properly, JavaScript can actually be quite speedy (but don't use it for huge calculations).
