I happen to have a SO profile that tries to capture the essence of what Jon wrote.
When I "do" respond to posts asking the "asker" to elaborate on that question with more details, I imagine the asker visiting my profile and, probably squishing my avatar with bare hands...
If there are people out there that feel that way I am sorry...I am only trying to help.
But that is the problem. There is frustration on the asker's part. Always. There is also frustration on the "answerers" part too. But this is a perennial problem. And its not going to go away soon.
But at least the stuff Jon mentions in points...for both "askers" and "answerers"...they help. They are like commandments. Abide by them.
