I went from an X1 carbon to an XPS 13 to a 2015 MBP. I really wanted to love the XPS. It was a beautiful machine. Unfortunately I hated the keyboard, my touchpad was extremely buggy, the webcam placement was horrid, and I'm not a fan of the lack of ports. Our company stopped offering them as an option (and switched to the similar HP model) because there were so many complaints. The X1 was really great, though.
