Singapore and the US also have a very longstanding relationship.
- njarboe 9y agoSince Singapore came into existence in 1965, I'm not sure any countries relationships to Singapore are very longstanding (well, maybe Malaysia's).
- xkjkls 9y agoTrue, I'm not saying Singapore isn't an ally. They just have much more hedged relationships with the US than a country like The Netherlands, who we've managed to fight two World Wars with.
