Workers are based on the Service Worker API, not based on Node.js APIs. So, Express is not likely to work out-of-the-box; it would need to be rewritten to be based on Service Workers. The good news is that the Service Worker API is more modern than Node, e.g. using Promises instead of callbacks, which IMO makes it a better experience to work with.
