Kind of harsh and presumptuous.
- DoreenMichele 9y agoI spent nearly 6 years homeless. I am American and have about 6 years of college. The hoi polloi didn't want to listen to me as to what I wanted. I found the degree to which I was given a deaf ear rather harsh. Other than my lack of money, I am essentially one of the hoi polloi. I'm even recently decended from low level German nobility. My maternal grandmother's maiden name started with von and the family sold the title when it fell on hard times. But I'm poor, so I must be an incompetent dolt who has no clue what is best for me. I'm quite confident that prejudice runs all the deeper towards people who have more differences than just income from the powers that be.
