- ugh 16y agoAh, right, I should have been clearer in my comment. My assertion would be that many are ok with forcing everyone to subsidize other people. Many Americans seem to perceive taxation as inherently immoral (I blame Ayn Rand), that’s not a view you will often hear expressed in Europe.
