- astrodust 16y agoRunning a site on Windows is embarrassing enough, worse when your pants fall down like this.
- fauigerzigerk 16y agoRight. Who on earth would seriously consider using an OS on which errors can occur? That's just ridiculous now that errors are a thing of the past on Unix!
- cowboyhero 16y agoFair point -- but you'd think Winer would have enough experience to allow his apps to fail gracefully. Printing out ugly error messages complete with file system paths in html is definitely a pants-dropping kind of move.
- White_N_Nerdy 16y agoA lot of huge sites run great on Windows. Stackoverflow, for one. How is that embarrassing?
- JoelMcCracken 16y agoUsing Windows as a technologist is like farting in public. Still embarrassing.
- White_N_Nerdy 16y agoAnd any "technologist" who can't see the value of Microsoft tools is next to worthless in my book.
