I've been noticing a similar phenomena. No matter what news clip I click on, my recommended videos will always be filled with right wing videos. So if I click on a clip of fox news I will get recommended some clips from say Ben Shapiro (expected). But if I click on a clip from msnbc, cnn, the young turks, or even Democracy Now my recommendations are still filled up with right wing content (undesirable). And unlike the left wing videos that might be recommended to me on a left wing video, the right wing videos will follow me around the site no matter what content I watch. I wonder if an over reliance on neural networks is what has been causing them so many problems recently.
