Your question does not mention the use case ? If react-native was recommended, it was for a something specific ? We use react-native for a cross platform mobile app (iOS and Android). The alternative would be to write two separate code bases in two two different languages for two separate OSes. RN was a no brainer and we are still very happy with it.
