In the comments here I read a lot about tech workers struggling with the cost of living. If it’s hard to make it work for someone with a 100k salary, I can’t imagine what it must be like for people with “normal” salaries. What about bus drivers and waiters and salespeople in stores? How do they make it work? I’m genuinely curious, I have no idea what living in the bay area is like.
