Ask HN: How do you track your or your employees productivity on the browser?
Do you use a browser extension to log your employees activity, or your own activity? I'm looking for a SaaS that provides a Chrome extension + an admin panel where I can see the data. Thanks in advance!
- smogm 9y agoEU data protection law prohibits u from doing that, so be careful with remote working people that work from Europe
- chkte 9y agoDidn't know that, but my boss asked me if something like this existed. The company is based in the USA but I work remotely from Europe.
- one87 9y agoIn my country that's highly illegal... Be sure to check first.

- itamarst 9y agoInstead of spying on your employees, and measuring something that isn't likely to be their productivity, maybe figure out what you can do to motivate them or make their life easier: 1. Pay more. 2. Better UX/UI. etc.
- chkte 9y agoNot for me, actually :(. You are right.
