- beojan 9y agoYou must have a really old alarm clock. And why wouldn't you correct the time manually if you know it's drifting?
- pantalaimon 9y agoWhat innovations in alarm clock tech am I missing out on that would make me want to upgrade?
- foepys 9y agoBeing part of an IoT botnet seems to be all the rage nowadays.
- Piskvorrr 9y agoEssentially the whole "watches you while you sleep [not creepy at all] so it can wake you when you're not in a deep sleep phase." I do use a smartphone for that, as it already has motion sensors, and it is indeed somewhat gentler to wake up to. (OTOH, if I absolutely positively need to wake up at $TIME, the ticking mechanical bedside clock of my grandfather it is: it hasn't been innovated for a century, needs to be manually wound, is completely independent of any external source, and rings loud enough to rouse the dead)

- saagarjha 9y ago6 minutes isn't a whole lot for a bedside alarm clock. I probably wouldn't correct it unless it reached ten minutes or more, which is when it would start making me late for things.
