Ask HN: Does the regular Outlook.com have a lite version?

The Outlook Web App sucks. It takes minutes to load if it loads at all. When on a slower connection it is impossible to use. I don't know why Microsoft has to have such a clunky piece of crap. Anyway, is there a lite version at all? Not for Office 365, but just for the regular Outlook email.
