- sf_rob 9y agoMost property tax is local not state. I don't have the percentage breakdown, but I have encountered this multiple times within my family (anecdotal I know). It's quite possible that this percent is not a majority. Plus, your link is more like ~14/50 states if you're only considering lower income folks.
