To me, the article is more about the delusion of how productive some people think they are. It's one thing to know that you really put out 2-3 hours of good code and be satisfied with it. It's another to think I've worked 10 hours a day while being distracted by Slack and surfing the web. The best take away for me is to have a good measure of productivity and I think 'pausing the CD is a great idea.'
