- masklinn 9y agoAs an other commenter notes, it's also believable that they started playing to the incentive without being specifically asked to behave that way. In my experience of sales people, ethics are the first thing to go out the window when bonus is on the line. And just to be clear this doesn't absolve the company in any way, they're the ones who set incentives up, commonly expecting & hoping for misbehaviour.
