I didn’t agree much of what you had to say, but it was your opinion to express and that’s fine. Did you really have to break down and call people “tool-bags” at the end though? I can promise you it only prevents whatever point you might have from being heard.
- hungerstrike 9y agoI'm okay with people not agreeing with me. It's a common plight for intelligent folk and I've pretty much had to be okay with it since childhood. Thanks for your suggestion though! I changed it to "ignorant people".
- IntronExon 9y agoIf you have to tell people that you’re intelligent while denigrating them, it says far more about the fragility of your ego, your anger and frustration than anything else. It might be youth, or it might be struggles with socialization, but if you want to communicate with other intelligent people without being picked out as angry and insecure, your approach could use some refining.
- hungerstrike 9y agoGee, do you always feel this urge to go around giving out free advice where nobody asked for it? You’re taking a harmless little jab to heart when it wasn’t even put in your direction. What does that say about you? Your appeal to maturity illusion won't work here. At this point I have very little respect for your opinion, so why don’t you just take your very easily offended act elsewhere? Honestly, people like you are what’s wrong with the world. Try to relax and breathe a bit okay bud? (Can I say bud or will that be assuming or gender??)
