- marnett 9y agoDo you recommend this book? Is this a core theme of the novel? I've never heard of it, but I'd love to read about thoughts on social isolation caused from modernism that are 101 years old!
- anvandare 9y agoI definitely recommend the book. If I had to say what the core theme was (without spoiling anything), I suppose I'd say "how a person, out of fear of loneliness, can force themselves deeper into it - like quicksand".
